Dr. Dimsoski was born in Prilep, Macedonia. He graduated from the Cyril & Methodius University in Skopje in 1989 before going to the United Stated for graduate studies. He received a Master of Science, and a Ph. D. in Molecular Genetics at the Ohio State University in Columbus in 1992 and 1996 respectively.
In 1996 he received the prestigious Oak Ridge Fellowship which he held at the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Cincinnati until 2000. Since 2000 he works as a Senior Scientist at the Applied Biosystems Corporation in the San Francisco Bay area where he resides with his wife and daughter.
Dr. Dimsoski was a member of the St. Mary Macedonian-American Orthodox Church in Columbus during his stay in Columbus from 1990 to 1996. In 1992 he initiated the establishment of the Macedonian Student Association at The Ohio State University and served as its President 1992-94. In 1996 when he moved to Cincinnati, he joined the St. Ilija Macedonian-American Orthodox Church in Cincinnati.
This year Dr. Dimsoski initiated the formation of the Macedonian Association of California in San Francisco and currently serves as its President.
His goal is to promote the interests of Macedonian People by increasing the political and economical ties between the United States and Macedonia.
