How to write to your US Representative 

 
1. FIRST -  copy a sample of a LETTER you prefer for US REPRESENTATIVE

To locate your US REPRESENTATIVE: 

2.   Go to the governments web site to locate your representative

3.   ENTER http://www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW.html

4.   ENTER your zip code and STATE

5.   Click on the SUBMIT button or just press ENTER

New page is displayed with your REPRESENTATIVE

1.      Enter your  NAME

2.      Enter your Address

3.      Enter your City

4.      Enter your Telephone Number

5.      Enter your e-Mail address

6.      Click on the SUBMIT button or just press ENTER

New Page is displayed with all the information you entered.

At this point, put/click your cursor in the free text area of the page

            (it can also be done by pressing the Tab  key a few times)

Click on EDIT on top of your browser

Click on PASTE

 
This will get the sample letter copied to the page.

 

Make changes to the letter to your satisfaction and press on the SEND YOUR MESSAGE button

The letter will go directly to your US Representative from you.
