Dear Mrs. Trajkovska,

We received the tragic news on the death of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Boris Trajkovski, with a great distress and sorrow. In these difficult moments for our country, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children as well as with the families of all deceased in this tragic event.

President Trajkovski, as the signatories below, had spent a part of his life, education and career in the USA. He endeavored, as all of us are, to accomplish his ideas for a better, prosperous and stronger Macedonia. His model and his legacy will be a part of all of us in our future pursuits. Those returning to Macedonia have a task to entirely invest themselves in Macedonia’s prosperity, and those remaining in the U.S. have a mission to dignifiedly represent us wherever they are and proudly return to their country and people.

Convinced in the maturity of our people and its leadership, we are confident that our country will find strength to continue on the road of reforms, progress and Euro-Atlantic integrations—the road that is a permanent legacy of President Trajkovski.
